The Scrum of Life

The Scrum of Life

The Scrum of Life

In twisted bodies, sweat and toil
The scrum unfolds, a physical soil
Where strength and wills are tested deep
And only teamwork lets the spirit keep
Like life itself, the scrum’s a grind
Where every step forward’s hard to find
But in the push and pull, we discover might
And in each other’s eyes, a beacon in the night
Through mud and blood and tears and pain
We bind together, an unbroken chain
Each strain and struggle makes the bond take hold
Together we rise, our hearts made bold
In this wild dance of life and rugby’s test
We find our inner strength and do our best
To push, to pull, to heave and to strive
And in the scrum of life, our spirits thrive.
