Richard “Rick’ Collins

 Rick has been involved with rugby since 2006 when he discovered the sport in Graduate school at SMU in Dallas, TX. After playing football and basketball in college he combined his love of contact and passing with his leadership skills to rebuild the Cox Rugby program back to Business School Rugby glory. He began his men’s club career with the Dallas Harlequins 7s and continued on with 7s and 15s with the Quins after graduating from SMU. He’s been coaching at SMU for 5 years and more recently Alliance Women 7s and Jesuit Dallas Rangers HS boys backs. He loves the sport, the culture, and the people that make the sport so amazing. He’s been looking forward to having a professional rugby team in Dallas since Pro Rugby had it’s inaugural season. Rick is now a leader of the Dallas Jackals MLR team’s Supporters’ Group, the Jakl Den. PERSONAL Rick Collins, 40 Born and raised in Dallas. Currently living in Richardson with wife Kat Conklin and his daughters Arya and Keira.
